Got a spot of bover with the old GPZ600 when ever i try and accelerate it seems to have a flat spot if i back off the throtle then ease it back on a bit at a time it will run ok has any got any ideas. the bike is fitted with uprated jets and single K&N style filters fitted to each carb.
Check its not running rich as well, could be sticky choke. How long ago was the Dyno jet kit fitted? They are really only good for 1500 mile before they wear and need tweaking. Some wear so bad in that time the emultion tubes and jets need to be replaced. If your not on the edge your taking up too much room!!
it was only fitted back end of last year and not done that many miles, will look at getting carbs balanced can anyone recommend anyone or know of anyone with a set of vacum gauges CHRIS
fond the prob split in the air intake pipe and carbs out of balance. clair take it to xpromotorcycles in messingham there spot on and not badly priced only cost me £20 CHRIS
