What we are about and aims of the club/forum SBC is about making new friends and making a place for bikers to chat and meet and ride together and help make a positive image of bikers and networking with other clubs in the area. We welcome all types and size of motorbike, scooter, trike, and side cars. SBC is set up with idea that the club is for everyone and is run as non profit and is free to join. So what stuff do we do?
Stuff we do SCB ride outs Got to bike nights (e.g. Lincolnshire bike night, Stef's Bike nights) Attend rallies Go to racing meeting (e.g. motogp, bsb, road racing and wsb) Social meets (e.g. pub, xmass meal) Members own ride outs Charity work And always welcome new ideas for things to do or go
SBC history and highlights so far
Scunnybikers.com was started on the 16-05-08 by Carl (Wild Child) the idea behind SBC was to make a place for Scunthorpe & district bikers. To meet, chat and give advice / help fellow bikers and go on ride outs.
SBC 1st year SBC stated with a few friends joining the site and going on ride outs, rallies and growing at a steady rate
1st Ever SBC ride out consisted of Carl, Andy and Dave
we then slowly grew and got to our largest ride out of 7 peeps until after the egg run where we had a membership boom due to the publicity SBC got from the egg run

1st Easter egg run Andy (ktmandy) arranged the 1st Easter egg run which saw 53 bikes and scooters attend and andy got on tv. Which expanded the club allot and this is when I joined (ducati gav) now eating my words as I said I would never join a bike club. We are hoping to make the egg run happen every year [ image disabled ] above a picture of the egg run
The 1st big ride out Was the Meet and Greet ride out on Sunday 16th August and was arranged between Andy and myself saw one new member come all the way from Keighley (cbr mike rr). Shortly after the 1st big ride out we hit a 100 online members and this was follow by other big ride out. And in spring and summer SBC are holding one once a month [ image disabled ]

largest wednesday night run out 09/09/09 this was to linc bike night and we got 15 of us to attend and was random as it was looking to be a small turn out and also a large group of us going round wild childs on bikes to drag him out
largest turn out to a rally 25 sep this was to billys hog roast and i think for the those that havent attened a rally the vid below shows what there all about .
The 1st social meeting (as winter was here) was Monday night meet 02/11/09 at the farmhouse which saw a really good turn out and are hoping to continue these though the winter.
This is just a brief look at the history and if I was to put when everyone joined and every ride,meet,rally well it would be like a book : ) As you can see SBC is still a new club and are still leaning how to making things better.
So here is to the future and expanding the history of the club and size of the club.
